Cassette 5: Side A

Summery

This chapter is about the story from Clay and Hannah. Clay hears the next cassette in the car of Tony because he wants that Clay comes in. Tony drives through the city while Clay hears the cassette.
Hannah says that this chapter is about him and tells about the party. 
She says she finds Clay always interesting because she only hears good things from him. Hannah wants to know more about him at the party. They speak a long time and Hannah feels good again. When they are alone in a room, they kiss. This is the first and the last kiss of them. 
Then Hannah does not want more and she pushes Clay away. He goes because Hannah wants it so. She reacts so because when she finishs the kiss, she sees the whole name of the list in her head. 
Hannah has been hurt so much because she things that Clay does not know what she is going through.
Besides she does not want that more rumors exist and arise. 
When the cassette ends, Clay is shocked. He wanted to help her and he would have listened to her. But Clay knows that it is too late now. And for the first time he really misses Hannah.

Task: Imagine you were Clay. Write a letter to Zach commenting on his action.

Dear Zach!
If I´m honest, I can not understand your behavior. Before you went to Hannah, there was a boy who has touched her. Therefore she has not talked to you.
I see no reason therefore to steal her letters. If you knew that this would be one of the reasons of her suicide, would you have acted differently?
Hannah has needed these letters to get her self-confidence back. I know that you can not change it now. But I hope you know that there are no reasons for this action.

Hello everyone!

My third blogpost is about Taylor and what I like to say to him. 
The first thing I have to say is, that it must be really hard for Hannah to have a Peeping Tom. 
Taylor, I would ask you what it has brought you to watch Hannah. I think after you know you are one of the reasons of Hannah, you never do it again. In your position I would be ashamed! 
It is disrespectful to take someone`s last privacy. It must be terrible to know that you are being observed.
I can imagine that you have not reckoned with such succession.

Summery  

This chapter is about new friendships. Ms Antilly, the guidance counselor for students, planned a little new-student orientationfor new students. 
Hannah Baker met Jessica Davis there. They did not want to be there. But then they thanked Ms. Antilly for introducing.
They have understood themselves and were friends. The girls met often in a cafe which called Monet´s. They also met Alex for the first time there. He was new, too. The three were happy that they found themselves. Besides they were a little clique. But at some point it changed. The first to drop out was Alex. The contact with him was less. But the contact from Hannah and Jessica was not better anymore. 
Suddenly Jessica wanted to talk to her and so they met. The reason was the list from Alex. Jessica heard so many rumors about Hannah (and Alex). As Hannah told her the truth, Jessica did not believe her.

I can understand why Hannah is angry. If you are new in a city, it is always hard. I think that Hannah is also injured for one part because everybody thought wrong from her. 

I do not undertsand why Alex has made this list because it personally brings him nothing.
